My trial ended but I wasn't charged
Billing · Updated Jun 22, 2026
If the card fails when a trial converts, there is no grace period. The workspace drops to Free until you fix the card and upgrade again.
When a trial ends, Stripe charges the card on file. If that first charge fails, no payment ever cleared, so there is no grace period: the workspace returns to Free right away. Your data is preserved.
The 7-day grace period only applies to renewal failures on a plan you have already paid for, not to a first charge. See failed payments.
To fix it, update your card and upgrade again from billing settings. Maps over the Free limits stay read-only until you re-upgrade or trim them.
