What happens after a failed payment?
Billing · Updated Jun 22, 2026
A failed payment starts a 7-day grace period. If it is not resolved, the workspace downgrades to Free.
During grace, owners should update the payment method from billing settings. If payment recovers during the grace period, the workspace stays on the paid plan. See failed payments for the downgrade timeline.
If the grace period expires, the workspace downgrades to Free. Data is preserved, but extra members and over-limit maps lose edit access until the workspace is upgraded again.
